Mailist is really simple – yet powerful tool – to help you collect and remind about links you want to save for later
Mailist is a bookmarking webapp and Chrome/Firefox extension that allows you to save articles for later AND also sends you a weekly email with randomly selected unread articles from your list. You can choose how many links are delivered in a single email in your account settings.
There are a lot of bookmarking tools from the native browser bookmarker to fully formed standalone ones like Pocket and Evernote. But Maillist adds a clever–and really important–piece that's missing in all the other ones: a follow-up mechanism that closes the loop. In this case, it generates a weekly email that takes N random unread articles from your list and reminds you to get to them. Once you do, you cross off the link from your list! That Simple :)
Sure, just head over to import feature and import any set of exported bookmarks from Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc. Once the file is uploaded you can freely choose which bookmarks you would like to import and save on your list.
It's delivered at 13:00 UTC on a day of your choice. Pick the day in your account settings.
Mailist is free forever! Seriously, I'm personally tired of all the apps based on monthly subscription. Mailist is simple enough to be maintained out of my own pocket, but if you feel like you'd like to donate anything, just contact me. Nonetheless, I'm currently working on some paid features which will available very soon! Stay tuned :)
Of course, please do! I am opened to any suggestions. There is a open Road Map, so everyone is able to see my plans but for now, please write me an email or use Crisp chat (in the right hand bottom corner).
Of course! If you don't like the app and you want your account to be removed (and the links you saved), go to your account settings
